Neuropsychometrists, also known as Neuropsychological Testing Assistants, hold master’s and/or bachelor's level degrees in psychology, neuroscience or closely releated fields of study. They administer neuropsychological tests to patients or examinees as directed by neuropsychologists. They maintain knowledge of the statistical and normative properties of each test and the normative procedures for test administration. They facilitate the testing process over the day for patients and examinees, striving to make the experience comfortable and successful. They score the tests and and provide tables of results for interpretation by the neuropsychologists.
