Dr. Kathy Baum is a neuropsychologist who brings a wealth of experience and expertise to NCMA. Dr. Baum's expertise extends to providing neuropsychological evaluations for adolescents, adults, and older adults, with additional proficiency in conducting forensic evaluations and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA, HIMS certified) evaluations. She has a passion for enhancing cognitive health and providing personalized and evidence-based neuropsychological and psychological care.

Dr. Baum earned her B.S. in Psychology from Plymouth State College, an M.Ed. in Counselor Training from the University of Massachusetts at Boston, and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from The Wright Institute in Berkeley, California.

Dr. Kathy Baum completed a pre-doctoral internship at the Miami Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where she developed an interest in testing and neuropsychological evaluations. Dr. Baum further honed her skills through a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center, with placement at the Miami Jewish Home and Hospital for the Aged.

Dr. Baum's extensive career includes roles as a neuropsychologist at Comprehensive MedPsych Systems (CMPS) in Sarasota, Florida, co-ownership of a group practice, and the establishment of a private neuropsychology practice in Bennington, Vermont. She returned to Florida for the position of clinical director and later director of testing and neuropsychology with Refresh Mental Health.

Board certified with the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology (ABN) and currently serving on the ABN Board of Directors, Dr. Baum is an active member of organizations such as the American Psychological Association, the National Academy of Neuropsychology, and the Maine Psychological Association.
